Default Gizmo/Sipphone Account Features

I'm using SIPPhone/Gizmo Project as my service provider. I don't find their Account Features to be all that substantial. Also, under the Call History section: Missed/Received/Dialed, I find that certain calls aren't being registered. Plus, the voicemail set-up was not properly designed. I just called my number and only heard "The caller is not available." Then some other stuff. But not the familiar, "After the beep, leave your message." I didn't even hear a beep where one could begin to leave the message! As well, the approach they took to have separate websites for sipphone and gizmoproject is problematic. I don't see the rationale for that. It also feels as if if the preferred Gizmo customer is the Windows user rather than the Web-based user (or computer-user versus ATA-user).
-------
Taking all that into account, I was wondering whether Voxalot could offer a higher "quality", more extensive set of account features - as well as expanding the 8 possible speeddial numbers on my Sipura 3102 User 1 page. Plus a better designed voicemail system. Does Voxalot offer such functionlity?

Hard to tell what you are asking. Are you talking about using SIPphone/Gizmo via Voxalot? If so, that is certainly doable. However, I suspect that would be slightly less reliable, as you then have two points of failure (Voxalot, and SIPphone), either one of which being down, would take down your phone service.

Of course, Voxalot does have many features built in. But they aren't the same set of features that SIPphone/Gizmo has built in.

While Voxalot can do that, it's actually EASIER to just do it directly in the "dial plan" of the Sipura itself. For example, add the following to your "dial plan", to allow the string "22#" to dial the main SIPphone conference room (essentially adding a non-existent "speed dial" 22 to the Sipura):
<22:12220000000@proxy01.sipphone.com>

The above sees the "speed dial" 22, and replaces it this the full SIP URI you want to dial under that condition. Repeat this approach, for any other "speed dials" you want...

If you use another provider via Voxalot, you can set things up to use Voxalot's VM, if that is what you prefer.
