Default Vonage users in the Philippines

Are there any users that were able to relocate the Vonage adapter and use it from Manila?

Hello,
I did that very thing in June/July of this year. I used two different DSL lines at two different locations in Makati. Call quality was exactly the same as in the US, I was very surprised.
As always, it will depend on the ISP, I imagine in Makati they are very competitive with quality of service. Enjoy!

If you anybody needs help in installing their Vonage device here in the Philippines we can help you with that (for a minimal fee of course...) We work in an outsourced Vonage call center here in Manila, Philippines and are fully trained in the installation and troubleshooting of all Vonage devices.

We have been installing Vonage devices for a while now so if you live within Metro Manila you can email us and we can arrange you an in-home installation service. Service charge subject to proximity of your area as we are based here in Makati and may vary if it is an installation or service trouble.

We just require that you have a highspeed broadband service like Globe Broadband, Globe wireless Broadband, PLDT ADSL, Smart Bro... etc.... and a PC or Laptop for configuring the Vonage device.

We cater this in-home installation service to both Residential and Business residences within Metro Manila, Philippines.

Kindly email vonageph (at) yahoo.com.ph (replace "at" with "@") the ff info:

Name:
Area / City / Municipality:
Vonage Device Model:
Preferred installation schedule:

Thanks!

Hi!

I just learned about Vonage this morning in a tv ad. I am presently in Nassau Bahamas but would like to see having the adapter in the Philippines - where I am permanently based.

How much and where I can get it is what I will appreciate to know.

I work for IBM Philippines and will be in the Philippines in a couple of months. Could I purchase the adapter here and just have it installed in Manila?

Thank you and hoping to hear from you soon.

regards,

my cp: 63 2 915 486-3220

a company which is offering unlimited calling to the philippines using SUN celular and bayantel is Telepinas (www.telepinas.com). Unlike vonage, an internet connection is NOT required and NO other voip equipment is required either.

telepinas maps a local SUN or bayantel number to a US/Canada number. they can also map a local US/Canada number to a SUN or metro manila land line. thier 2-way unlimited package starts at $45.95/month.

I have a Vonage line here in California and calling into the Philippines Vonage does not work most of the time. I am going to drop Vonage because of this. I will switch to Skype and always get through but almost never on Vonage. I have tried other services and had problems to on the in bound call to the Philippines. Some of my friends who have Vonage in the Philippines say it works fine calling here to the states, no problem at all. From what I have heard most VOIP services work good outbound from the Philippines but from the states into is where it is hard to find a good inexpensive service.
