Vonage PAP2 Fax line settings needed (ISP blocking issue)
Traveling abroad. VoIP calls apparently blocked fairly effectively by a local ISP. Location and ISP to remain nameless for now so they will be less likely to learn from this thread, I hope. Need someone with full access to a device with Vonage Fax to provide the basic settings so I can use them in an attempt to get my Vonage Softphone account working.
Vonage Softphone currently unworkable on PC, but I think I could make it work on a PAP2-NA if I had more info. Vonage main line does not work at all on a Vonage-locked PAP2. Interestingly, Vonage Fax line does work occasionally for voice calls on the Vonage-locked PAP2. I've tried guessing the difference to no avail. I almost wish it was unlocked just so I could see why. Vonage lower level tech support was relatively unhelpful, and I guess upper level either forgot to follow up or couldn't get through.
Can anyone help me out with the fax line settings, preferably for a PAP2? IM should be fine if you prefer not to post details.
