Default Linksys SPA does not respond to request for IVR

Handset does not respond to **** and say "Linksys Configuration Menu"?
Older versions (prior to 1.0.31) of firmware had an issue that caused the SPA to be deaf to touch tones after a period of time. If you power-cycle the device and it still does not respond to ****, try unplugging your Ethernet cable and try again. If the unit still does not respond to IVR after this, your unit may need to be replaced. Contact your service provider or point of purchase.

Also unplug the line connection. Otherwise on mine, the numbers go to the pstn network and are ignored by the spa3102.
