Default Do the Linksys devices support fax?
You should also ensure you are using the latest firmware on your SPA device and make the following configuration changes:
  • Use G.711 as your codec
  • Use Preferred Codec Only = Yes
  • Silence Supp Enable = No
  • Echo Canc Enable = No
  • Network Jitter Level = High
Make sure you also have approximately 100kbps in both the upstream and downstream direction in order to support fax.
