How can I recover a Linksys SPA device that is blinking SOS?

Your Linksys SPA series device is blinking an SOS code (3 long blinks, two short ones, and 3 long ones again) and is not usable.

[top]Solution

Linksys has a SPA Recovery Tool that can be used to bring a device back from this state. The recovery tool is firmware release specific and the only way to obtain the recovery tool is from your VAR.
