| It should be interesting to see what weekend service is like, if there is any at all. Line 1 won't register. It worked fine for a week after I got it and configured it with a static IP and my router forwarding ports 5060 and 5061 to the Sipura 2000. I have StanaPhone on the second line and it is registering properly, dial tone there etc. Not much more to do on this end. So it went down last night about 6pm EST, I sent in an email about 9:30 and we shall see. ---Updated--- It is Sunday morning and not a peep heard yet. I have been watching, but not posting over on the DSL Reports board to see if anyone else was complaining. Iif there is a 5 minute drop, the posts start showing up over there. No one has complained there. Could the problem be on my end after all? What hadn't I done. I rebooted the Sipura, I rebooted the router. Bits are passing normally through the router to the servers and registration is present on Line 2 with Stanaphone with dial tone there. What else could there be? Had I rebooted the cable modem? No. But why should I since everything else was working properly? Hmm . . . let's try it anyway . . . That did it. Everything is back to normal now. I need to know if they have repair service on the weekends, though. At this point it doesn't appear that way. But that is one more lesson learned. --UPDATED-- Everything is not back to normal as I thought. Registration stayed up for 15 hours. Rebooting fixed things for one hour. Only thing that changed was adding Stanaphone to line two, so I tried taking that out. So far 19 hours straight of uptime. At 10:00 a.m., I received an email from Voicepulse saying they had heard of a few cases where Stanaphone on a second line caused their first line to drop and suggested that I experiment taking it out --UPDATE-- Up for 36 hours after disabling Stanaphone.. |
