ViaTalk first look
Just ordered Viatalk and learned:
Sales is responsive, Support is OK if it's simple question.
Do not expect help on Asterisk.
Welcome message they send has no crucial information for trunk configuration like what host to use and password. The password they send is only for web site.
Biggest problem now is that CID with Name they advertised works only on calls originated from a land line phone and only some cell ph #.
Looks like on some cell calls the name replaced with generic message: Cell Phone call, TX. Even they are originated from the same provider like T-Mobil
I have ticket open and no response yet.
Is there a provider that has RELIABLE CID with Name and permits BYOD?
