Default Connecting Linksys PAP2T through router

I signed up with ViaTalk and got my gizmo and everything but unlike the SunRocket gismo there is no parallel port to run my computer so I needed to buy a router to connect both my adapter and my computer. Unfortunately I can not get my adapter to work through the router now. The router is a Trendnet TEW-432BRP and there is apparently a firewall that prevents my adapter from connecting. I've called both Trendnet and Linksys and have been unable to resolve the issue. Apparently there is a port number required and no one seems to know it. Linksys told me to call ViaTalk but I think we all know the reason I am not jumping on that right away. Can someone help me open this port so my adapter can communicate?

UPdate- I'm not exactly sure what I did but it is working. Thanks for reading my post
