I use Asterisk. There should be an answer and an ivr. A couple of callers reported that they got ringing and thats it. Or they get multiple rings before the ivr is cut off in the first couple of sentences. I've located their calls and they are logged as "Maximum retries exceeded" for the calls that don't go through at all. I have set the Extenip value properly some time ago and after that this sort of thing stopped happening with other did providers until now. I have the ports forwarded on my router. I've test called my number repeatedly from my landline and Google Voice and yes I do get the same sort of cut off. ------ Edit: I put additional 4 seconds of silence at the begining. It may be just that Ipkall is experiancing high latency or something. I do notice extra crackles and drop outs that my other paid dids don't do.
