"Internet Telephone Settings" menu in Nokia N85

    I cannot find the menu Tools->Settins->Connection->Internet Telephone Settings in my Nokia N85 as in Nokia N95.

    Is there any alternative to this in N85.

    Without this how can I configure voip settings.

    After searching through other forums I found that there is no sip client added in N85 and N96
    Inorder to use voip we have to add third party voip clients which are not yet available and also even if we add it will compromise the call quality.

    So people looking for making voip calls, keep away from this phones.

    Nokia cheats...................:eek::(:rolleyes:

    The information you gathered is partially incorrect. Unlike the N96, the N85 does have options to setup sip parameters. You need to install this application.

    if you would like to use voip in your nokia phones and if it does not have SIP Settings, or you cannot create SIP profile, you can however use mobile voip softphones like fring. if you have SIP provider, you should ask them what mobile softphone they work with so you can use it with you N95 or N85. I am using nomado and i have n70, so i do not have any option but to use fring, and it works great.

    I am having a similar problem with my Nokia E72 as well! I am trying to use it with a Residential Voip system and it does not seem to be working. Any help on this?
