Is this even possible without a proper phone and/or extension other than the softphone? My scenario, I thought, was fairly simple. A room full of PCs with softphones where users change desks frequently and I'm too cheap to buy a bunch of phones. Perhaps I'm over complicating it? Perhaps my softphone hotdesk context is borked? I have a hotdesk setup which works fine in a more traditional manner. Anyone have thoughts on a work around? Link to a tut or some such direction/advice you could provide? I suppose I could provide PIN id at the end of the call but it seems redundant to have to do this after each call. m.
