Default Restore to Factory - Connect Via PC

Ok, two in one! First, thanks for the forum!

1. How do you reset the system to factory defaults? We purchased ours used - and it's got the old owners voicemails/setup and everything still installed. Is there an easy way to simply reset everything? - Maybe This is achievable but please note issue #2.

2. I've tried to connect Via USB, Serial, and on our network and I can't seem to connect in any?!?! When doing USB, windows prompted me that it detected a connection from the Centrepoint device - but couldn't find any drivers for it. I've installed the latest software - 4.21 - but cannot connect to the TalkSwitch using the Downladed Software to verify what it's using!

Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

You need to flash the unit. Is it NLS? Connect through LAN. On initial screen disregard unable to connect notice. Select flash firmware. It still wouldn't detect. When it asks whether the lights are solid on, ANSWER YES. It will start flashing.
Good luck

I have the same problem: used unit, last owners message etc....I saw your reply, went thru the steps, but Talkswitch is not being detected by my computer. I tried hooking up the phone lines and calling my number and I get the old owners voice mail, so the unit works....in the "flash" process, after the "yes" answer, I have to choose an upgrade file, either PDFs or T23NS05 which are in the Talkswitch folder - I choose the file, do the off/on sequence(the power light is not solid, always flashing when on) and the 3 red lights next to the Ethernet port are flashing. Then I get the error message "unable to communicate with TalkSwitch. Please check the connection and try again"....what can I do? - I would pay for an installer or help line but cannot locate one....thanks

I am selling on ebay three units that I just restored. The auction is set to end 5/25. You can find me by putting talkswitch in ebay search.
