Default Hello--Aastra 390 and TalkSwitch

Greetings from West Michigan!

I'm new to the forum. I've been working with Altigen pbx and voip since 2003. Currently, I'm helping out a friend who has purchased a TalkSwitch 480 and some used Aastra 390 phones that were originally programmed for use with an Altigen system. Does anyone know how to reprogram them to utilize TalkSwitch features?

Thanks

SgtD

It looks like you might be able to go onto aastra's site and download the config you want for your phone. I don't know if they have a template for Talkswitch or not.

Thanks,

I contacted Aastra and they provided the following:

"If they were programmed for Altigen, you probably want to start with a master reset. This will clear out any programming along with numbers stored in the callers list and directory. To do the master reset:
1. Set time and date to Jan 1 12:00 AM.
2. Press the "Options" button.
3. Press "Mute"
4. Press "#"
The display will then go off and turn back on. Once you confirm your language selection the master reset has been complete.

After the master reset, dial 469-365-3203 from the 390 phone. Press "2" to download the programming. When prompted to enter a passcode, enter 40014 (Sayson Passcode) or 40015 (Aastra Passcode)"
