Default EpyxMobile offers Skype Mobile Access

I'm trying to understand EpyxMobile service. They claim to interface your mobile phone to Skype. Right now their website is extremely slow and is absolutely sinfully short on details.

I believe what they offer is:

* A piece of Windows software that interfaces Skype to your mobile phone's headset feature via bluetooth.
* You can make and receive phone calls using the software.
* If your carrier provides cheap/free interservice calling, you can leave a phone next to your PC, connected by bluetooth, which acts as a gateway. You can call the gateway for possibly free (mobile provider dependent charges) Skype outbound access or you can use the gateway to call Skype for possibly free (again dependent mobile provider charges).

Basically a software version of Dock-N-Talk.

Do I understand this correctly?

Dear BSalita,

Yes, you understand our service properly. Furthermore, by connecting two EpyxMobile systems, you can make calls from mobile to mobile for (almost) free, depending on the call plan offered by your service provider.

Should you have any further question, don't hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

EpyxMobile Support Team

How about Asterisk? Has EpyxMobile been integrated with Asterisk yet?

No Asterisk yet, but it is in the queue. First we would like to release EpyxMobile for Skype 1.0. Then we can move on to Asterisk.
