Hi All,

I am trying to install Sipx software on our Linux server with Fedora Core 5. I am trying this by using YUM. When I give the install command i.e. yum install sipxpbx, it gives me the following output:

Trying other mirror.

Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: sipxecs-stable

failure: repodata/repomd.xml from sipxecs-stable: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

I have the dump of the installables in the machine with name HYDHTC75575 and I have given this as baseurl in the Repo file.



Please let me know the reason for this error and what can be done to resolve this.

It looks like your yum repository is set up incorrectly.

Did you follow the instructions at sipfoundry. You may want to look in /etc/yum.repos.d/ and make sure the sipx repository file is in there.

You may want to remove it and reinstall it.

it appears that the repository only supports FC6 not FC5.
