Hi, I have a FX 200 connected to a HT 486. I set up the FX200 for transit in with 2 stage dialing, but when I call with my mobile the PSTN I receive the tone of the ATA, but the ATA doesn't recognise the DTMF of my mobile, so I cannot make a call. Is the problem in the FX200 or in the HT486? How can I do to bypass this? Thanks Roberto

I've found out that the problem with the mobile is not strong network signal. If the mobile network signal is good no problem to use HT486. On the other side, dialing from POTS doesn't work. The FX200 does not recognise tones and so the PIN, so call cannot be completed. The only signal recognised is #*# for hanging up. I'm quite disappointed. I don't like too much the poor features of FX200 and I'm thinking of replacing it and HT486 with SPA3000. Is SPA3000 easy to setup? Also, what is a good router to combine with SPA3000? I need a 4 port gateways one. I saw D-Link DI504/604 and they are quite cheap here in Shanghai (USD20 the DI504 and USD30 the DI604). Any suggestion?

yes we have heard of some problems using the FX-200 with mobile phones in China. We are not sure if the problem is with the network signal strength or with certain China brand mobile phones. We will be doing some testing specifically on this matter for the FX-300 product and will report back here when those tests are done.
