Default Queries on FX-300, and Beta Testers Feedback

I used to use a FX-200 with my old Cisco 186 and it used to work fine. Transiting in/Transiting out - never a problem, sound quality used to be not effected at all.

Then, got a new SPA3000, tons of features, the authentication by Caller ID for Transit functions made me instantly switch over. However, the sound quality was never quite as good. Yesterday, I disabled the PSTN tab on my SPA3000, and connected the old FX-200 to the FXS port. Its not as slick as the SPA's inherent FXO gateway, but the sound quality is awesome.

Now, looking at the new FX-300, I can see the combination of this with a Sipura device can be the ultimate combo. Have a few queries.

1) When will the FX-300 be available for general sale?

2) I read in the SIPCPE faqs that the fx-300 will have a volume tuning/control feature. Is it somehtign similar to the SPA3000 port impedence etc settings. I know these are not easy to set and possibly lead to sound quality problems in the SPA, do any of the Beta testers reckons it has been a problem in the FX-300.

3) I really want to have two different incoming providers ringing the phone connected to the ATA, and have 3 or 4 different outgoing proivders. The SPA3000 offers most of what I want, except only ONE incoming provider really works. Is there any SPA provider that supports what i'm looking for?.

Thanks
Riz

The FX-300 will be available for general sale at some future date.

There is a low/high switch for the volume setting, at least on the beta units. That's about as easy as it gets, though I have no idea what impact this will have on impedences, etc.

For multiple incoming providers, the Intertex IX-66 and IX-67 with SIP Switch support this.

Default wait for FX-300?

the FX-300 beta is not in the store, do you recommend waiting for the unit or settle for the older version?

is there an official or unofficial release date?

I'm not sure what's happening with the FX-300 at this point. I'll look into it after the holiday.
