Default Difference between 12v & 5v

Don't know what adapter I'll want to use the FX-200 with-- either DTA-310 or Sipura (or likely, back and forth). Is there a modification that can be done by the end user to switch the unit between 5V and 12V (voiding warranty is fine with me)?

It's probably requires an electronics change of some sort, something that would likely be non-trivial for anyone that doesn't feel comfortable with a soldering iron.

No there is no way to switch the volt on the units. But if you buy the 5v unit you can leave it plugged into the Sipura power supply but connect L1 to the DTA. Just don't use the DTA's 12v power supply on the 5v FX-200. And vice versa. If you buy the 12v FX-200 you can use it with your Sipura just leave the FX-200 plugged into the DTA's power supply. So to switch gateways just plug L1 into the gateway you want to use.
