 Polycom Buddy Watch - working, but only on incoming calls We have got the buddy watch feature working on the Polycome 601 phones, but the Buddy Watch status on the phones only changes to the "Busy" icon when incoming calls are made to the asterisk system. Is this a limitation of the Polycom/Asterisk Buddy Watching feature? The way we would like it to work, is whenever an extension picks up their phone, any phones that are watching that extension's status would be notified right away that that person is "Busy". (As opposed to only when they are on an incoming call) I will post the instructions that I followed in another thread. Thank you.      |

| Re: Polycom Buddy Watch - working, but only on incoming calls Also just noticed... When I set the the phone that I am watching (phone 7101)to "Busy" using it's menu screen, and then run a "show hints" command in asterisk. The asterisk system doesn't think the phone is busy... Quote:
