Default Polycom 650 losing speed dials and buddys on reboot

I have some Polycom 650's running on a sipx box. I know that the sip server sends new config. files to the phone on reboots but is there any way I can keep it from overwriting my speed dials and buddy lists? No sure if this should be in here or the sipx forum.

Thanks for any help

in the vsftpd file, you must set the default to YES...this will let you keep your settings...but it is not always recommended...
