Default IP 600 Call routing

I currently have a network setup with multiple Polycom IP600 phones.
All of the phones are utilizing NAT addresses and I proxy all requests
for registration to a external Broadsoft platform utilizing a Nextone SBC
(this also routes my media for calls). To accomplish this, I have
been utilizing the outbound.proxy directive in the configuration of
the phones.

I have recently been asked to add the option for local 911 termination
on these phones as well. Looking at the configuration, I should be
able to build an emergency route in the configuration for these types
of calls. When I attempt this, it still appears to pass all calls
through the outbound proxy.

Does anyone know if there is a way to bypass the outbound proxy for
certain calls? Does anyone else know of another way around this?

Thanks in advance.

Default Broadsoft and Nextone

Hi Brian,

Unfortunatley i can t answer your question regarding the IP600 local routing of 911 calls at this time. But i would like to have a chat with you regarding your Broadsoft and Nextone platform. I am also running Broadsoft and Nextone together in Proxy Mirror mode and have been noticing some errors with Polycom and Nextone. Would like to share some ideas with you.

If this interests you then my e-mail is: jbrind@gmail.com

Look forward to your reply

JB
