| Hi i have a soundpoint ip 320 phone connected to a cisco soho adsl router, the router is set to get the dhcp settings from our dhcp server using a ip helper address. The phone is configured using tftp & the ip address of our tftp server. The dhcp setting on the phone is dhcp enabled, using custom+opt 66 with the bootsrv opt of 160. On the tftp server ive put the latest sip 2.2.2 files (sip.ld sip.cfg & 0004f216f4ae.cfg & 0004f216f4ae-phone.cfg & the director .xml) When i power on the phone it gets stuck on running sip.ld & sits there for 2 hourse then re-boots & goes through the cycle again. Ive connected the phone direct on to our corporate network, still using the dhcp server & it works fine. has anyone had the same problem when connecting through a ADSL router? is there any setting on the dhcp server or on the router that needs to be added? To add to this ive configured up an old soundpoint ip 301 phone through the router & this connects to the dhcp & works fine. Can someone help me pleae ? |
