Default DTMF Tones

Im using an Asterisk/Polycom Setup.

We are using the RFC2833 for DTMF however becuase of the automatic VAD in G729 the tones are getting grabled.

(Here is an error from the server:
Apr 15 16:32:31 NOTICE[30520]: frame.c:183 __ast_smoother_feed: Dropping extra frame of G.729 since we already have a VAD frame at the end
)

There are about 10 different settings for DTMF allowed in the sip.cfg file, does anyone have any experience or optimal settings for these that will help reduce the problem? Please advise...
