| Hi, The default behaviour of the Polycom phone is to use FTP to get configuration/firmware. I know how to change it using the menu system to use TFTP, but does anyone know of a way in any of the .cfg files to set it from FTP to TFTP? Cheers |

| as far as I'm aware you set this on the opening screen of the polycom boot up. Go into SERVER and change the protocol. It has to know this before it goes looking for the config files on whatever type of server you select. |

Code: option domain-name "mycompany.com"; option ntp-servers 192.168.0.2; option tftp-server-name "192.168.0.2"; option routers 192.168.0.1; option time-offset -25200; option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0; option broadcast-address 192.168.0.255; option domain-name-servers 192.168.0.4, 192.168.0.5; If you are using a windows base DHCP server, you can also set Option 66 and Option 150 to give the phone even more info. I haven't used either of these, but its something like: Code: option tftp-server-name code 66 = "192.168.0.2" Code: option option-66 code 66 = "192.168.0.2"; |
