 BootROM DHCP broken? I have various BootROM versions and multiple SIP versions running on IP/301 IP/501 and IP/330 phones in an effort to diagnose and correct DHCP trouble I'm having. I've tried different ISC DHCPd versions, on different platforms, and have also tried W2k3's DHCP service. I have sniffed the DHCP transactions, and am observing the following behavior: 1) Polycoms ask for an address (DHCP Discover) 2) DHCP server offers an address (DHCP Offer) 3) Polycoms ARP the offered address 4) Polycoms ARP an incorrect address (192.168.0.x) 5) Polycoms DHCP Request the incorrect address 6) DHCP server NAKs the REQUEST 7) Goto 1      |
