 Phonegnome requires a number or service? Hi, I want to know if the phonegnome box (or any ATA configured with phonegnome) requires just a phone number or a phone service itself to place outbound PSTN calls. For ex, I have linksys PAP2 adapter which is configured with Gizmo (Assigned to a gizmo number). I am thinking if the following setup will work. 1. Remove the phone line connected to the linksys adapter port that is configured with gizmo. 2. Connect the adapter port to phonegnome box. 3. Connect the phonegnome output to the phone. Now, if I do this setup, will I be able to make unlimited FREE outbound PSTN calls to USA and Canada? I don't have any gizmo out credits. Just trying to find a way to make unlimited US and CAN PSTN calls with minimal onetime investment. Thanks, Balaji.      |
