| I know that my phonegnome can receive SIP calls thru the mynumber@sip.phonegnome.com, but can it receive incoming SIP calls on the SIP account used to make outgoing VOIP call, in my case sipphone? |

| We'll They respond to my emails, but never actually answer my questions: - Does *69 Call Return Work - Can Caller ID be turned off on the ITSP calls - Can some local calls be routed to ITSP - Does Call Forward work (see separate post) (And they still haven't responded on the incomming SIP calls ...) |

| I just tried *69, it worked. Caller ID on the ITSP calls is controlled by the ITSP. The way to route "local" calls via ITSP is to dial them as 1+area code+number. I just tried call forwarding and it appears to work, at least for a straight PSTN number.

| Replies from PG Support 1) Is *69 Call Return supported? >> we don't list *69 as a supported feature. *69 will attempt to return the call to the caller-ID number received. That may or may not work in all cases, thus we don't claim "support". You can access the POTS line *69 by dialing ## then at the second (high pitched) dial-tone, dial *69 but of course that will only return the last call received via the POTS line. * Since I don't have caller ID on my PSTN, that's why it won't work directly 2) Can I Turn off Caller ID on all calls, including ITSP calls? >> It's not a standeard feature yet. We have in the feature in Beta and we can enable it for you, if you'd like to try it. If so, let us know and will disable outbound caller ID (this can vary a bit with your ITSP, we cannot contgrol that -- in some cases they generate caller ID based on ytouyr account info with them). ** I checked with SIPPhone, and they keep caller ID on for all calls, and can not be turned off... 3) Can some local calls be routed to ITSP >> This is another feature in beta. The current implementation is based on distance between rate centers, not a list of NPA-NXX. 4) Does Call Forward work >> We'll have to look into this and see why this is not working in your specific case. |
