| I have a very strange problem. When I call out through the PSTN port using the analog phone attached to the PhoneGnome, I can hear the person dailed at the other end but they cannot hear me. If I use SoftGnome, same thing happens if I make a call routed through the PSTN port. I can hear them but they can't hear me. Its not a problem with the analog phone microphone/mute, nor with the voip phone I'm using to call with SoftGnome (they each work properly when not used with PhoneGnome). It doesn't sound like a VOIP/IP/SIP transport type problem because it happens with a call made from the analog phone attached to the PhoneGnome for calls out through the PSTN port. If I call the SoftGnome phone from the analog phone attached to the PhoneGnome (using **466#) then two way audio works. If I disconnect the ethernet port on the PhoneGnome (or unplug the power), the audio also works fine. So the problem only occurs when the PhoneGnome can connect to Televolution. I can use a Sipura 3000 on the same network to make and receive calls, no problem. I can also make ITSP calls through the PhoneGnome without problems. If I receive a PSTN call on the analog phone attached to the PhoneGnome, it also works fine (this must cause it to operate through a by-pass mode). If I receive a PSTN call on the SoftGnome connected VOIP phone, then I have the audio problem (the PSTN caller cannot hear the audio from the SoftGnome connected phone) Problem only occurs on outgoing PSTN calls. Can anyone help me? Please. |

| Further information. If I make a PSTN call from the analog phone attached to the PhoneGnome and hit ## first, there are no audio problems. But if I dial the same local number without the ## and let the PhoneGnome decide to route it through the PSTN, then I get the audio problem. |
