Default SunRocket and the T.38 Protocol

Does SunRocket use the T.38 protocol for faxing? If i order their AC-211 gizmo. Also is T.38 used for voice also or do they use G.711. If used for voice, which has better quality? Also what is the difference in G.711 and T.38

Default RE: SunRocket and the T.38 Protocol

T.38 is an end-to-end protocol that transports faxes over IP so that they can overcome the inherent difficulties in sending faxes via the public internet. It is not a CODEC, like G.711.

The only way to learn if SunRocket is now offering T.38 service is to ask them. Please report what you learn.
