Has anyone had success recently in communicating with SIPPhone about opening an account with them? One poster in another forum has written that a reply took 2 weeks! And the inquiry was in regards to the poster wanting to add money to their SIPPhone account! I'd like to sign-up with SIPPhone as they offer a lot of things I'm looking for, but good customer service is a requisite for VOIP service providers I sign-up with. Imagine a VOIP service provider that didn't use e-mail. Would you do business with them?

I had heard that the SIPPhone branded portion of the company is being majorly deemphasized by the administrators and that mostly all their effort now is being devoted to the Gizmo Project aspect. So that for instance the forums of SIPPhone are really dead and lacking in major administrator/company participation, while the Gizmo Project forums are lively and active and have daily contact with people who work for the company. Yet it is nominally the same company as SIPPhone. So maybe you can direct your emails and calls to the Gizmo people and see how rapid a response you get from that side of things.
