Default Anyone heard of PimpMyNumber?

I'm looking in to getting a uk did number (london 0203 number) my current voip provider only does the 0845 numbers though.

I found a company offering local did numbers at http://www.pimpmynumber.co.uk/ who seem to be reasonable priced of £20 a number... i've not heard of them before so does any one know anything about them, how reliable? or is £20 to expensive? anyone know of a cheaper company?

one reason i am considering these is it will allow me to stay with my existing voip provider and forward the number to my sip account...

thanks

Just to let people know, I signed up to www.pimpmynumber.co.uk and got myself a 0203 number, £10 for the year, which isn't to much and I am quite supprised that to be honest. I have it diverting to my Voxalot account sip account. It works perfectly I was expecting some bad call quality but it is near perfect. And I get the caller id sent too. Only problem i can't divert my 0203 number to my mobile but can't have it all ways

If you have a Voipbuster account, can't you divert it to you mobile through voxalot ?
Otherwise use Mysipswitch for this, instead of Voxalot,

I asked the support people very nicely at pimpmynumber if i could divert it to my BT Line, and for £5 per month they give me 1,000 minutes each month

So i have it diverting to my voxalot account evening times, and during the day when im out and about, it diverts to my BT Line... Having BT mobile is ideal as I can divert the line to my mobile for cheap as chips!

I must say i was abit dubvious dealing with a company with the word PIMP in its name, but im so glad i found them lol, the support people are great will help you out anyway possible

I made an account too, (living in the Netherlands) but i don't have it working,
I took a free account, divert the number to VoIP, i guess calling in on that number can only be done from within the UK, but couldn't test that yet.

TheFug

I not had any problems with mine, but I am in the UK, Although i know some numbers aren't dialable from outside of the UK...

I had an 0703 number before and my friends in Canada was unable to call me, i emailed the support reporting it as a fault, and i was told that

0703, 0843 and 0844 didn't work outside the UK, not because of them stopping it, but something to do with those numbers are only callable from the UK...

Might be worth emailing them or using the live support thing on the website, or do as i did, the 0203 london number was advertised for £20 at the time, i offered them £10 and the tech support person said yes lol

Thanks
Hobbie
