iPhone is a smartphone from Apple that integrates cellphone, iPod music player, camera, text messaging, e-mail and Web browsing. Introduced in the summer of 2007, the iPhone is available only from AT&T (formerly Cingular) until 2009.

Well, if Apple doesn't change police on no background 3rd party apps (and sure as hell it's not coming up with their own VoIP solution as they're partnering with the cell companies), there's little hope for iPhone having a nice VoIP calling functionality.
You'll be much better off with any E-series or N-series Nokia phone if you want both GSM & SIP on your phone.
