what about selective call forwarding?
I've seen various posts about the SPA-3k, DNT, alternatively using an FX-200, but nobody that's asked about multiple incoming call-routing. This is for a small biz, and therefore slightly more complicated.
So here's what I think I want:
1) Two VoIP lines (likely, 2 separate broadvoice accounts)
2) POTS lifeline
3) 1 Dock-N-Talk cell phone with dedicated cell. We have two additional cell phones that we'd want this to act as a gateway with.
INBOUND
If you call VoIP-A, you get routed through to Cell A. If you call VoIP-B, you get routed to Cell B. If VoIP-->CellA link is already active, and someone else calls VoIP-B, it would be great if they got forwarded directly to Cell B (not through the DNT). I believe Broadvoice supports forwarding on busy/no-answer. Is it possible to get a busy signal and for Broadvoice to automatically perform the forward?
OUTBOUND
For Outbound calls, I'd like both cell phones to be able to call the DNT cell phone and receive outgoing VoIP service. Would this outgoign service have to be on only one of the VoIP accounts, or could Cell-A use VoIP-A, and Cell-B use VoIP-B? Since one of the VoIP lines would be incoming, it might save a few $$$ if all outgoing calls could be routed through one VoIP line, but for other people's caller-id (and return call functionality), it might make sense if the calls always got routed through their own VoIP account.
It appears 1
SPA-3000 and one dock-n-talk solves the problem.
HOWEVER, what about the lifeline (POTS)? Is it possible for inbound lifeline calls to ring a normal FXS phone or fax, while at the same time giving the normal FXS phone the option of using the VoIP lines for outbound calls? Since the SPA-3k only has one FXS port (connected to the DNT), this doesn't seem possible. I see that the Clipcomm CG-200 includes 2 FXS ports, but I don't think it has the same routing capabilities as the SPA-3k. Any 2-FXS-port SPA-3k's on the horizon? Any devices I can daisy-chain to get this?
Thanks!
