The problem is probably related to NAT and that your Cisco ATA isn't set up correctly for NAT. Are you using the fwdnat proxy or STUN (which I believe is supported in more recent versions of the ATA firmware)?

Thanks for you reply Phoneboy
I'm using the fwdnat.pulver.com:5082, and don't even know what STUN is
At my router i set all traffic to ports 5060 and 5061 to go to ATA 186 internal IP.
I have the most recent ATA SIP Firmware and know something about VOIP.
BTW I have a SPA-2K and i think it is much easier to set up than Cisco ATA!
Hugs

The Cisco ATA is obtuse, but there are those that find the Sipuras just as obtuse.

Mouallem,

You got to be pretty darned obtuse to find the single page Cisco 186 config page simpler than a Sipura

In addition to port 5060 and 5061, try ALSO forwarding ports in the range 16200-16500 (maybe slightly more than is needed, but works for me). to the Cisco's IP Address. Make sure the ATA has a fixed IP as well.

It also does not receive any calls! I?ve installed Xlite on a coputer on the same network, connected to the same router and ADSL modem and xlite works just fine, i registered Xlite with the same FWD#: when i call from xlite to my number only xlite rings, when i call from my ATA the xlite rings but there is no sound when i answer!
What may the problem be?
I'm going mad.
I have PSTN line connected to Cisco ATA 186 and want to redirect calls to SIP phone. I set up ADSL Router with NAT. I don't have firewall configured at ADSL router. Just behind I've got Cisco ATA 186 with the latest SIP firmware and also set up X-Lite SIP phone with pulver.com settings that works fine. 613# works and all other test numbers. When I phone into my ATA 186 the call is not forwarded to SIP phone. Every time I get busy tone when I phone that PSTN line. I also checked with Cisco and tones for my country are ok. What ever I change in the SIP configuration like GkOrProxy, OutBoundProxy etc I'm constantly getting the same busy tone. Don't know what to do else? Any idea? If you have Cisco ATA 186 SIP configuration that works with pulver.com SIP phone, please if you can post it to this email address dragon2000gh@yahoo.co.uk
I would realy appreciate you.

TAKE THE PSTN line OUT OF THE CISCO... there is No FXO port in the ATA186... there is no possibility to brdige PSTN and VoIP using just the ATA186.
