MVOX miniVox MV100 Compared to PC MIC and Speakers

I have tried using a built in laptop mic and and built in speakers but there was alot of echo. That was solved by the headset.

How is using thr MVOX any different? Does it take out the echo? Cant you get software on the taptop to cancel the echo as well? What software can I use? I currently use Xlite and Gizmo
