That's encouraging. If its functionality and capacity end up close to the Intertex devices, but cost 1/3 as much, that package will be a winner.

That openWRT.org software looks kinda primitive right now. I'm guessing the Sveasoft firmware will be based on it but I would hope they make it a lot more polished and full featured.

Asterisk on a WRT?! If they can cram in enough features that would open up some interesting possibilities. Looks like openWRT.org has a ways to go before I would consider jumping in but that's just me. 8)

I could even imagine going the other way. I could see porting the Sveasoft SIP engine from the WRT platform onto a conventional Linux PC. I would love to have an Asterisk-like Linux PBX with Linksys-esque configuration and management design.
