Default Dvg-1102

at work we currently have many dvg-1102m locked to a provider which has recently started providing sip (the m in 1102m stands for mgcp) we have found that the dvg-1120m has a hack that allows one to flash it to a dvg-1120s (s = sip).

i have searched many forums and etc etc and cannot find much on the dvg-1102 let alone a solution.

can anyone offer any ideas.

Yes, I have two DVG-1102M units due to arrive here soon. I have SIP firmware for them, and the instructions how to flash them to SIP. Note that once flashed to SIP they will not work behind NAT but do register on Asterisk.

Are you sure it is a dvg-1102 and not a dvg-1120. if so would you be kind enough to share the firmware this to me?

i would be extremely appreciative.

Well, the two D-Link VoIP units have arrived, however they turned out to be 1120M units, not 1102M. The firmware I planned to use is also for the 1120, see index

If you have the login_id and password for your 1102 mgcp units you may be able to use them with an Asterisk PBX. Asterisk supports MGCP phones and will allow you to use them with a SIP based VoIP provider. Sometimes you can get passwords from monitoring a console port during the boot process.
