| I'm considering buying a DockNTalk with a Bluetooth module. Anyone have feedback on these units particularly about the robustness of Bluetooth feature. I'm skeptical that the Bluetooth module and cell phone can maintain a reliable connection throughout the house. That would be a minimumm of 70 feet, one floor and several walls.

| Why would you need anything more than a few feet of distance between the Dock-n-Talk and the mobile phone? The whole premise of the device is that you dock your mobile phone to it so that it both charges the phone and connects it to ordinary telephones while you are at your home location. If you are going to continue carrying your mobile phone around the house/office with you that sort of defeats the purpose, I think. |

| mberlant, I confess to being disorganized and forgetful. My mobile won't always be docked when it should be. The fact that it works up to 20 feet is good to know. Bob.

| I got a second number on my Cingular service just for my Dock n Talk. That way, I don't have to worry.

| I have been using an Andrew Extensis dock for my VZW StarTAC for about four years, and love the flexibility. It sits on the shelf in my coat closet (in my home in the US), and I drop my phone into the dock and my keys next to it year round. The Extensis feeds a CO trunk on my Norstar system, which makes it accessible from throughout the house. Once I find a Japanese cell phone that has W-CDMA and GSM Tri-Band (or Quad-Band) and BlueTooth I will switch to that phone and get myself a Dock-n-Talk with BT and a BT car kit for my car. |
