Default i desperately need help with a motorola sb4200 cable modem...
i live in australia, and im looking to get an Apple Airport for my MacBook Pro so i can have wireless internet through my house, but the ethernet port on the back of my Motorola SB4200 Cable Modem doesnt work when i connect it. i am currently using this modem on my home PC by connecting it via the usb port. please can anyone help me change this so i can hook it up to my Ethernet supported mac system. please respond asap. cheers guys

What exactly are you connecting the modem to?

If you are not connecting the modem to a switch, you may need to use an ethernet cross-over cable.

all im doing is using the ethernet cable to connect to an Apple AirPort so as i can have some cool wireless internet throughout my house is all. do i need a crossover cable? do i need to tell me SB4200 to change by going into its programming???
