Looks like voipdiscount (Betamax) blocks the IP of pbxes.com so have had to stop using it. Am trying out another one but it doesn't have all the same features. Still allows dial plans and call routing by dial plan matching which is great. Won't do extensions or ring groups though, so would not work with an E60 phone.

Just a sugestion, if the other service works with betamax, create a betamax trunk there and then create a trunk in pbxes pointing to that other service. That way you can use pbxes and also betamax via the other service.

A good idea except that it adds a lot of latency to the calls and that will more than likely give echo. The other service I mentioned (VoXaLot) has all the same features as PBXes except for ring groups, which I am not using yet since haven't got the Nokia E60. VoXaLot does allow me to do outbound call routing and dial plans which is great. Thanks for your tip which started me down that road

Incidentally, I had a look at the E60 and it is way bigger than my other phone, and to be honest quite ugly! I have decided to wait until a GSM phone with 3 MegaPixel camera, MP3 player, SIP and a flip-top comes on the market (if ever as that's a lot to ask!). Oh, and it has to be small too!

I've followed your directions on how to set up Nokia E60 and i was successful connecting to my Trixbox from home only. I have to say that voice quality is 50 times better then on my Grandstream 2000. I did make 2 profiles, one from home one for outside world. I've been trying for some time now to connect to my trixbox from different access points but no luck. I get registration failed. I have name.dyndns.org address pointing to my server and i do have my family from different parts of the world connecting their GXp's to this server. Not sure where to look for the problem any more. Any suggestions?
