Double check your settings.I am sure you forgot something or did something wrong. Configure EXACTLY like I posted including the CAPS at BroadWorks need to be exactly the same. My brother could not get it working at first, but then it worked. The settings I posted work, have been tested and continue to work everyday for me.

Also if you have more than one device, you need to call broadvoice and add the device to your account or manually configure your home adapter (change proxy)(TURN OFF PROVISIONING) Last edited by TJIR : August 31st, 2007 at 08:01 PM.

Then it should be working fine. I use my E61i at home with my WiFi connections and I have NO problems. I use it everyday. Check your configuration and I am sure it will work.

Ok, got it working, not sure how but it works now. Here are the steps I followed, I did a firmware update of the phone to make it factory fresh as I bought it used. I entered all the BV settings per your post. I took out my active TMobile SIM and put in a non registered SIM to get the phone to even work as it will not work without a SIM in place. Joined my wireless network WEP(40bit encryption) First time I got Registration Failed, so I put the phone in Offline Mode and forced it to connect to WiFi, forced the SIP registration trying to make a call and wala! it rings through. Wow, I had entered the SIP settings 20 times ant it always got Registration Failed. Was it something with the non activated SIM card? I have no idea, just happy that it works. Thanks again G

I am glad you got it to work. You don't know how long it took me to find out the settings I posted. Thanks to the original poster in that thread who monitored his device connected to Broadvoice and noticed the BroadWorks field ... Now I have another task ... make my Linksys 3102 work with Broadvoice .............

I am reading that a lot of guys are setting up an asterisk pbx server and setting their BV line as a trunk. They are then connecting all their devices to the asterisk box via SIP and whichever gets the BV trunk first gets the call. Sounds like a good way around the 1 device limit. I may give this a try just to mess around with asterisk G
