The Sip/voip settings only works for a phone that already has the sip settings option directly in the phone's firmware. Therefore you cannot use this with the N96 or the N97. The E72 may have it because it is a modified version of the E71.

if your nokia phone foes not have sip settings, you can dowload the sip settings here http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._Settings.html then configure.

this will help you use your Nokia phones for voip calls.

Hi Buddy,

Nokia N96 and N78 were not going to have the native Nokia SIP client yet, fring has announced support for the fring application on the N96 as well as N 78.

i know a lot using Nokia phones for SIP calls and they are happy with it. If you will be using Nokia phones that does not have built in Sip, Download the Nokia SIP VoIP Settings Application here : http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._Settings.html
On the dropdown, click on SIP VoIP 3.x Settings
Download the application.
