Default HTC and VoIP

During the last 2 years HTC mobile telephones have been introduced to the market. They are more business oriented than multimedia type cellular telephones. I believe they don’t have a built in VoIP software like the Nokia. Have anyone used them with VoIP connected to its WiFi?

In general, what would I look in a WiFi enabled cellular telephone to make sure it will work properly with VoIP application? (processer, OS…etc?)

What generic softphone is suitable to run on the cellular telephone?

Default Re: HTC and VoIP

I know that Sjphone is working on HTC Touch and pretty well

We use it with nomado and it was working great on a Linksys router.

But for the native Sip application on your HTC, forget it!!
