| Hey guys... I've read the forum all weekend.. and googled Xcelis, Dialmate, Asterix, and Voicestick. And know just confused. Im curious about experiences others have had setting this up. I need to bridge my cell phones for my family (TMOBILE) to a dialtone at home. I can use POTS or VOIP. QUestions: many of the posts on this are old (2004-2005). If I dont want to set up 5 voicestick accounts for five cell phone bridges.. what is the best way to do this? Thanks for your help, Tex |

| You can combine an Xlink with a SPA3102 (to get a cellular to VoIP) or any pbx that can bridge two trunks together to dial out on the PSTN.

You lost me here... I understand.. no Dialmate b/c I would be limited to one bridged call out at a time (otherwise a busy signal). For the other option--- Using CALL TRANSFER.. how does that work w/Vonage or Broadvoice.? What type of hardware do I need to support this? Thanks, TEX |

3-way Calling - same as above except DialMate does not hang up but does a second hook flash to connect the call and stays with the call (line will be busy for the duration of the call). DialMate will do call transfer or 3-way switching (programmed or on the fly) during call back, call bridge and call forward. You will also have the added bonus of unlimited free air time for T-Mobile, Sprint/Nextel and Alltel users. No need for Iphone, 3g or wifi networks. |

Question.... OKAY... so I understand the CALL TRANSFER feature... which you said works with both VONAGE and Broadvoice. QUESTION 1: Can multiple folks call into the vonage line and call transfer out? ie. How many transferred out calls will one vonage account support at the same time?? can my wife, my son, and I all call into vonage, into dialmate, and then be transferred out? I understand dialmate can only answer one call at a time.. my question is more about if I am already on a transferred call.. will VONAGE or BROADVOICE let my wife or son call in and get a tranfer out also? or do they need to wait until I am off?? QUESTION 2: So if I understand correctly... I only need ONE VoIP line for call transfer (not two lines). Q3: What is the difference btwn the different DIALMATES? Q4: Have you used XCELIS? Thanks, TEX |

I wanted to hop in here. I have been using Voicestick for about 1 1/2 years. Their i2bridge does a great job. I have Sprint 2 Home for $5 extra, an VS unlimited number for $19.99 a mo I use the VS number as a home number (using a PAP2) the SAME number for my i2bridge to off load Spirint calls. I typical run 2500 min on my cell, WITHOUT burning up a single minute of premium minutes! All together it is around $65 a month. Not bad for unlimited outbound cell calls, and inbound/outbound phone line for my home! |

| VoiceStick just did an about face. You can now get an Incoming (DID) number at no cost, no e911 charges, or any other junk fees. Incoming is still 1 cent a min, USA out going is still 2 cents (So the cell bridge is a total of just 3 cents a min) Thought I would give everyone a heads up. |
