| Good Morning, I am looking for a way to take two SPA9000's and network them together for cross company calling and call transfers between companies on the same local network. Below is a basic understanding on my lan to give a better idea if it is possible or not. I have an SRW2024P as the core switch with two SPA9000 and two SPA400's on that switch. The SPA9000's have had their multi cast addresses changed to allow for both to exist on the same switch. Same goes along with the phones, I have about 8 SPA962's on the same switch and then a Fiber off of that switch to an SRW2008P to join another 6 SPA962 Phones. The phones on the SRW2008P have also had their multi casts adjusted to match one of the SPA9000's on the core switch. With that being said I am able to register phones and reboot one SPA9000 and not loose the other SPA9000 or phones, which tells me the multi cast is working. Now for the fun part. I want to take line 3 of each SPA9000 and register them to each other. Now i can currently do this when i use the user name on the SIP Port on the line, so example Line 3 SIP port is 5062 so i set the user name to 5062 and set the proxy to <ip address>:6060 of the opposite SPA9000 on each SPA9000. When the systems reboot i get registered on both systems. I also set line 3 to use a dial 6 instead of a dial 9, adjusted the <:L3>6xx. as well under SIP tab and added a 6 to the dial plans. When i try to send a phone call to say another extension i was trying to do possible dial of 6 followed by the extension of the phone on other side, so for example 6101 if the phone is ext. 101. I receive a fast busy at this point and it doesn't even seem like the call is passed to the other SPA9000. As anyone ever joined to sPA9000 together to allow intercommunication between to companies on the same network? Thanks for reading. Jason |

| How about the basics? With a phone connected to SPA9000A, can you dial 6xxx to reach extension xxx that is registered with the SPA9000B? If not, SIP traces and debug information will be useful to see where the call is being dropped. By the way.. 8 + 6 = 14.. so you could add another 2 phones to a single PBX. Are you just looking forward with the two PBX scenario or is there a specific reason why you have two PBXes in your network? |

| The 6xxx extension does not call the other pbx as of yet. We were thinking of possibly adding in contact list on monday possible 101:101 and so on for each extension under line 3. We were thinking if we could pass a DID string we could route it the correct phones over the other PBX. We are using 2 PBXS on same network because its actually two companies, granted they could be on seperate switchs and vlans but its easier to put them on same swi tch. In the future we would like to add a 3rd PBX to the mix but connect them remotety over the internet since they would be in different cities or states. Right now i am able to register 1 Line button to each PBX with proxy's. Let me give you an example. Line 1 - Private Line 2 - Not Used Line 3 - Not Used Line 4 - PBX 1 (10.10.2.20:6060) Shared Exten: 200 Line 5 - PBX 2 (10.10.2.40:6060) Shared Exten: 300 Line 6 - Local PBX of Company I can also get the two SPA9000's to register to each other by putting under proxy on line 3 to point to each SPA9000 ip with port 6060 and the user ID of the line to the sip port so 5062. So i guess what it comes down to is that i can register lines of the phones to differnet SPA9000's but i can not direct dial a private extension. I can call private exten 300 or 200 and all phones ring regardless of the PXB they are on. |

Could you post the config of both PBXes and a phone on each PBX? |
