| I have recently setup a Spa9000 and a set of spa941 phones. My main issue right now is trying to figure out how to handle an incoming call and fwd to an external number, such as a cell phone or back to another office phone. Customer call -> line 1, phone 1 -> if busyt then -> line 1 phone 2 -> if bust then -> line 1 phone 3, if ALL 3 phones are on call -> fwd to external number...maybe cell phone? or another office? Can this be done? Thank you in advance for any help on this. |

| Set cfwdbusy on phone 1 to extension of phone2, on phone 2 to phone3, and on phone 3 to the external number (don't forget to put the number in a dialable format.. if you have a prefix you need to dial to get an outside line (like 9, or 0) , then the cfwd number must contain it. Then you enter the territory I mentioned here (external <-> external forward/transfer scenarios) Short version: external <-> external requires support by your IPTSP.. if they don't support it properly, you're SOL.
