Question SPA9k Manual Extension configuration

I'm about about to implement an SPA9k solution with SPA400 gateway and two 942 phones. I know that the system will automatically assign extensions to the phones. How do I assign a non default extension to the phone.
More specifically, I'm putting my pots extensions on the SPA400; such as 903-111-1111. I want to assign 1111 to the phone. That's the jest of my question.

Thanks for your help

First let the SPA9000 autoconfigure the device.. then you access the device (http://<your phone's ip address/admin/advanced - login /pass = admin/admin) and make the changes you require.

As for the rest, you need to be more precise.. do you want 1111 on both phones or just one (and the other e.g. getting a secondary number you might have: 903 111 1112).

I was using those numbers as examples. But it woul be 1111 on one phone and 1112 on the other phone. And I would assign the real pstn numer 903-111-1111 and 903-111-1112 to their respective fxo on the SPA400.
I'm familiar with the Cisco Call Manager Express (CME) system, and on those the extension is assigned on the router; not on the phone itself. But according to your answer, on the LVS system the extension is configured on the phone. So, that will give me something to go by.

Thanks.

If you search for it in this subforum, you'll find out how to route the FXO with the number ending in 1111 to one phone, and the FXO with the number ending in 1112 to the other phone. However, there's a major catch with your setup: if you dial out, regardless from which phone, it'll use the first FXO port available.. there's no way to force the use of a specific FXO port - a lot of people have asked for this since the product's inception, but Linksys doesn't appear to have any plans to change this any time soon.
