| I would like to setup some speed dials in my SPA941s ad 942s that would send some to an extension based on a # code. For example someone would dial: #75 and reach ext: 100. My first question is can this be done? Also, is there a way to do this from the SPA9K or does it have to be done on each phone. How is this done on the phone or the SPA9k? Thanks. |

| Did you check out the admin guide for your phone (can be downloaded from the product page at Linksys.com)? It explains how you set up speeddials. However, they work like this: speeddialnumber# Not the other way round. If you need the other way round, then you have to add <#75:100> to your dialplan (plus additional elements for each speeddial) - and minding the 256 character limit of the dialplan. And there's no way to have this done globally.. if you want that you need another PBX.
