Default SPA941 - does it have a backlight?

My supplier has told me that the only difference between an SPA941 and SPA942 is that the 942 has the second port and supports PoE. Neither of these bothers me for this installation but, somewhere at the back of my mind, I seem to think the 941 doesn't have a backlight either?

Can someone confirm before I order, please?

Correct. 921 and 941 have no backlight.
Which is fine if you normally work in a brightly-lit office, but can be a problem if it's a more domestic environment, like mine. Also language support is apparently patchy and the codec support for G729 is apparently not implemented properly.
Next time round, I will get the 942 or 922.

Perfect answer, thanks. Can't seem to find any definitive information online but just had a feeling the backlight was missing.

Looks like i'll order the 942s instead.
